C.A.R.E. Cancer Support Centre
C.A.R.E. Cancer Support Centre aims to provide support and information to anyone affected by cancer in the South Tipp area.The diagnosis of cancer can mark the beginning of a frightening journey. The CARE Centre aims to provide emotional support and practical help to people who have or have had cancer, their family and friends.
Services provided include a telephone helpline, emotional support, information, support groups, complementary and relaxation therapies, and counselling referrals.
All services are provided free of charge and provided in the strictest confidence.
The Centre is open Monday to Thursdays 10am to 2pm.
- Support groups meet in the mornings and evenings:
- Cancer Support Group meets Tuesday 10.30am to 12.30pm
- Breast Cancer Support Group meets the first Wednesday of every month at 7.30pm
- The Bereavement Support Group meets the last Monday of the month at 8pm
