I have visited Clonmel this week in search of my Irish roots. What a lovely place it is.
I am searching for information about Julia Horman, born 1864, believed to be in Clonmel. If there are any Hormans still in the area - or beyond, please get in touch.
Thank you.

My grandmother Mary Ellen Ryan was born and raised in Clonmel. She immigrated to the U.S. She lived with her numerous Ryan brothers and sisters on Morton and Bolton Streets and then Cashel Road. They were members of St. Peters and Pauls. Her parents names were Thomas Francis Ryan and Bridget Loftus Ryan.Born in the 1800's and probably passed away in the 1930's,40's or 50's. We have lost all contact with brothers and sisters but we do know that one of her sisters Catherine Ryan lived in Clonmel until 1980's of her death. She was a volunteer for the Sisters of Mercy or Charity. Because there are so many Ryans in Clonmel it is impossible to even investigate who our relatives are. Anyone recognize these names.

Loved the photos. I grew up in Clonmel in the 70's, and it was a great place. St Paddy's well is just as I remember it. we used to go there about twice a week in summertime. I'd love to see more photos though.
